When I'm painting outside on a sunny day, I feel like I've died and gone to heaven. So I paint outdoors whenever I can, wherever I am. I love the transparency of watercolors and like to let the white of the paper shine through. I think I got the love for drawing and painting from my Dad. We followed Jon Nagy together when I was very young and painted outside together when I was much older. I moved from Mercer County, NJ to Bath, Maine in November, 2007, where I have established Creekside Studio as a winter workspace and gallery for visitors.

I am primarily a watercolor painter, but also work in pencil, colored pencil, pastel, acrylic and stylus for etchings. I have local scenes and will accept commissions for house portraits and other subjects as well. I also have some fine art Giclee prints and I make notecards from photos of my paintings.
